ΝΕΤ Activities in European Solidarity Corps

Networking activities (NET) are activities such as training courses, seminars, partnership building activities, conferences that are hosted by the National Agencies both at transnational and national level aiming to improve the implementation of the European Solidarity Corps Programme in qualitative terms and to make them more strategic by building closer links with relevant elements of policy development. Representatives of organisations, mentors, coaches, project managers and all other stakeholders that are involved or wish to get involved in the world of the European Solidarity Corps Programme are invited to participate to these activities.

The “Act locally, think globally: How to build a solidarity project” is one of these NET activities that was hosted by the Hellenic National Agency for Erasmus+ / Youth and European Solidarity Corps. This NET activity took place online with the active participation of around 20 participants from 8 different countries within EU. During this NET activity, the participants got informed about Solidarity Projects and the aim of these Projects and their contribution to enhance active local citizenship, lived a learning experience through a simulated process on setting up a Solidarity project and managed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to organise a Solidarity Project, based on non-formal learning practice, principles, and the quality standards of the ESC programme.
